Please Note: To bind a quote we must receive the actual copy of the quote proposal (all pages). The top portion of page 1 must include: a check mark in the "please Bind" box; the effective date of the binder; the agent's signature and the date the binder is being requested.
On New Business the agent will submit the Total Gross Down Payment or Full Payment. The payment information on the quotation/request to bind form must be completed in order to process binder. The payment may be made by the agency checking account or by the insured’s checking account information or by Credit Card - Visa - Master Card – American Express.
The New Policy showing the Declaration Pages, Forms and Endorsements, will be sent directly to the Insured.
The Agent Copy of the entire policy will be displayed on the Agent Portal Online.
We will be unable to proceed with the binding process if any of the requested items are missing.
Coverage may be only be bound by an underwriter of
GIC/GRANADA INSURANCE COMPANY. NO PRODUCER HAS AUTHORITY TO BIND COVERAGE ON BEHALF OF GIC/GRANADA INSURANCE COMPANY.
EXPIRED QUOTES
Our quotes are valid for 30 days only. The expiration date of the quote is clearly indicated on the quote sheet.
Due to the potential rate, rule or fee changes, we will be unable to honor requests to bind expired quotes.
If you need an updated quote you must either re-rate your quote online or resubmit current application to us.

RENEWAL PROCEDURE
Renewal Policies for Granada Insurance Company are sent 60 days in advance to the insured. The Package includes an invoice for the renewal premium, also a payment option if the insured does not want to pay the account in full, the complete policy includes all declaratory pages and all endorsements to the policy. 60 days in advance of the renewal date a complete copy of all the declaratory pages are also provided for our agents and displayed “Online”.
CANCELLATION - INSURED'S REQUEST
Submit fully executed ACORD - Cancellation Request / Policy Release form, signed by all parties having interest in the policy.
POLICY FEE
$25.00 fully earned and non commissionable fee will apply to all policies.
GL ADDITIONAL INSURED-GRANADA
How to add or delete an additional insured on a General Liability Policy with Granada Insurance Company - it's Easy:
- go online and click “MANAGE YOUR POLICY”
- View Payment History
- scroll down to the policy to be amended and click on the "Manage Policy" tab all the way to the right
- click on the “Additional Insured Change Request” tab
- complete and submit form
ENDORSEMENT REQUEST
Requests for any policy changes must be made in
WRITING. Rates in effect at the time the policy was written will be used for all changes during the policy year. All endorsement requests must be either
FAXED or E-MAILED to
endorsements@granadainsurance.com no later than the day they are to take effect. We will not accept back dated requests to increase exposures or broaden coverages to existing policies.
AGENT OF RECORD
The agent of record will receive the renewal policy or a quotation. Any other agent must submit an agent of record letter to our office to receive any new or renewal information.
The "agent of record" letter is to be written on the applicant's/ insured's letterhead or on the ACORD - agent of record form.
HOW TO OBTAIN LOSS RUNS INFORMATION FOR GRANADA INSURANCE POLICIES:
If you are the agent of record on the account, you can obtain loss runs online. Once you login go to the top blue bar and you will see the option for "LOSS RUNS", click on this option, then enter the policy number and it will generate the loss runs information, save it and print.
